Small park but good for 3 yrs & up.

Nice neighbourhood park. Little league ball diamond means the snack bar is often open on summer evenings, providing a budget dinner option when you're too lazy to cook. The angle street parking on Allenby is used these days by Camosun students and hospital staff avoiding parking fees where they study or work. The playground in recent years has collected many childrens' toys, reflecting the change in demographics from when I took my own kids there a dozen years ago. Good sturdy playground equipment. Newish bike path and walking path keep pedestrians and cyclists apart. It can be quite dark at night and so is a nice place to scan the stars on a wintry night while walking the pooch.

Always clean and fun to play in the children's park.
