We worked with Danika in private and group lessons for our rescue dog Clover’s severe reactivity. Thanks to Danika’s advice and training, Clover has gone from reacting to dogs from 30ft away, to being able to spend time around dogs up to just a few feet. This is HUGE for her!

We have used Baby Dog for our beginner and intermediate training for our puppy Charlie. We cannot begin to say enough great things about the training and trainers. If you are looking for a training course for your pup, give these guys a try.

Aviva and her team at baby dog set the foundation we need to have the most fulfilling relationship with our dog. I can’t say enough positive things about the effort, time, expertise and connection each trainer puts into their clients. My dog is now 3 and we still move back to the basics for all of her training when we need to.

I can’t thank Aviva enough for the clear, helpful and realistic tips she is always able to provide when I have a question about something or notice a change in my dog’s behaviour. I am always confident they have my dogs best interest at heart.

Baby Dog Rocks!

We hired Danika for private lessons with our Great Pyreneese puppy named Juno. Not only was she an incredible trainer, she is the reason our puppy is still alive today. On our first session, she pointed out an irregular gait that our vet dismissed. She urged us to get it checked out again, which led to Juno getting a spinal surgery that saved her life. Once Juno recovered from her surgery, we resumed our private lessons with Danika. Since Juno had missed critical socialization time during her recovery, she had become timid. Danika was able to help us get back on track, and Juno is feeling more confident every day. She is incredibly knowledgeable in dog psychology and was able to explain things clearly and efficiently to us. We felt as if we got a lot out of each hour long session, and left feeling confident in our abilities as dog parents. It was very helpful to have training sessions tailored completely to Juno's needs with someone who is as knowledgable and intuitive as Danika! BabyDog was recommended to me by a friend and now I am in a position to recommend them to my friends and family.

I contacted BabyDog for private sessions to help me improve my puppy’s impulse control. My Jack Russell Terrier had a terrible habit of picking things up and eating them - everything. Even dangerous things. I was at the point where I felt I could not keep him safe and I was considering rehoming him.

The Baby Dog trainer and I worked slowly and methodically building a strong foundation of impulse control commands such as no, leave it, drop it, sit/stay, and place. We added one or two new skills every week. As my pup improved we worked on walking skills and recall. Everything finally came together and now my pup lives safely and happily, as a member of our family, and loves training every day.

I am so pleased with my investment in my dog and my partnership with BabyDog. Their training methodology is science-based, gentle, kind, and it has proven itself effective for my dog. I found the trainer to be knowledgeable, skilled, patient, and kind. She was an excellent communicator for both handler and puppy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her, gaining confidence in my ability to teach my pup and his capacity to learn. My dog and I are now a team, training every day, and continuing to solidify the skills we have learned.
