I had the pleasure of working with Tony to purchase my first home, and it was a great experience. Tony was patient with all my questions and gave valuable, honest advice. He was very transparent in his approach and I felt that he really had my best interest in mind. (For example, I was quite pleasantly surprised when he cautioned me against some listings because of their location/layout/interior finish, and I appreciate how he did not try to convince me to consider viewings that I did not like.) When issues arose he was assertive and professional in how he handled the situation, and I truly appreciate all that he did. I would definitely recommend his service to all.

Tony is exceptionally patient. Over a course of 15 months with weekly house tours, he never pushed us for making offers. Instead, he stressed to us repeatedly the importance of finding a house to our satisfaction. His attitude brought so much comfort to us through the lengthy process.

Tony is a very effective advisor. He always based on our interests and preference to select what houses to show us although our preference changed quite a bit over the time and were inconsistent at times. At every house tour, he educated us what were the important aspects to examine and what were less important. For some houses that had foundational problems or alterations likely without permissions, he would directly suggest us to not consider them to avoid any costly problems in the future. The rich experience and practical knowledge Tony had had brought us much needed assurance and confidence in our decision.

Tony is a very smart strategist in bidding as well, which is extremely important in hot real estate market today. He formulated his bidding strategy based on how much buyers loved the houses they intended to bid for. This simple but useful methodology allowed us to get familiar with the bidding process and acquire a house we really liked.

Tony provides his service beyond and above our wildest expectation. House purchase closure is a complicated process. Tony guided us every step along the way to protect our interests and avoid any mistakes or overlooks. The house we bought needed some repairs. Tony leveraged his resources and helped arrange related work at favorable prices; so all the major repairs could be completed within one week and we were able to move in quickly.

It was a blessing for us to have Tony as our real estate agent. He is able and willing to help clients get their favorite houses they can afford. In our own experience, his service was substantial and his impact was huge and positive. Without his help, we would not have been able to get the house we love dearly.

What can I say...he is the only real estate agent that I actually like. He is practical, down to earth, listens to our needs, and isn't the type to get impatient. That last bit is hard to come by because almost every other real estate agent I've tried using (6 in total) always tried to push us into bidding $1.5M on houses that were 40 to 50 years old by saying, "this is the reality of the market." My wife and I are economists...even in this crazy market, we know better.

The only time he was insistent was when we actually found the house that was perfect for us and had the best value of any other house on the market at the time in Victoria (we closed on the house April 2021). And he was right to be insistent on it because it the house was a bargain (given the market at the time). Everyone that mattered validated his opinion. The home inspectors opinion of the house aligned with Tony's, the assessor that broke down the value of the property was spot on with Tony's judgement...every independent 3rd party backed up his assessment. This demonstrates just how knowledgeable and accurate he is compared to other agents I've dealt with.

Also, he is patient. He walked us through the process, and helped us navigate it in as timely of a manner as possible. He was able to answer more questions than what would be expected from even the most seasoned property buyer. This required an amount of patience that is rare given our experiences chasing realestate in both Vancouver and Victoria.
