(October 30, 2018, 10:26 pm)This is easily the best bookstore I have been to. It's quirky, charming, and beautifully taken care of, the staff are lovely and the books are in amazing condition. A must-visit for anyone coming to the island!
(October 27, 2018, 8:33 pm)There's a lot to love about Salt Spring Island, but one of its absolute treasures is Black Sheep Books. I live in England, which has its fair share of nice bookshops but, having spent some time on Salt Spring Island, Black Sheep Books is one of my all-time favourites anywhere!
Don't even think about going in there for just one book because you will inevitably discover books in nooks and crannies you didn't even know you wanted, and happily come out with several!
And, if you are looking for something specific, the knowledgable, charming staff will point you in the right direction.
Highly recommended!
