“Their samosa’s alone should be the reason you visit and keep going back. This sweet local family cook up some of the most authentic and delicious dishes I’ve ever tasted. And they are wonderful, friendly people. Just follow your nose, the aroma will guide you to their tent. Arrive early, they sell out fast.”

“Previously , I have only raved about TJ Bean cappuccino as the best coffee I have ever tasted. But The Perch is on top of my list for best coffee. And if you are lucky, they will have Lava Brownies in stock that make death by chocolate seem possible. Or the gluten free muffins that are like nothing I’ve ever tasted. Or the lemon loaf... if you like lemon this is it’s own experience you will find yourself craving after days later. Do not miss this. Staff are always great and if you are just visiting there are plenty of friendly locals more than willing to help with questions and information. A great place to just relax and hang out.”

“Stopped at the tiny cube seacan - called The Blue Coffee Can serving up Mt Maxwell Coffee next to Artcraft as you enter Ganges. Definitely worth a try if you are craving a decent shot. I'm always on the hunt for quality flat white/cappuccinos and local roasters. And you can pick up some beans at the same time....timely roast date included! Unlike the roaster named for the island..... Aficionados won't be disappointed. ????”

“This place has the best vegan food in Salt Spring and is a breath of fresh air compared to the other restaurants/cafes here. The service was also amazing (we don’t understand the low reviews relating to this). We had the pleasure to meet the owners, Manon and Alan, who were friendly and also very knowledgeable on important current issues our world is facing (which is not surprising when you take a look at their great selection of books). The highlight of our meal was their vurger, it was bursting with flavour and the portion size was generous. Their homemade brownies were also delicious. You must stop here during your stay in Salt Spring.”

“Funky little Cafe. I had the mocha a la orange and my wife tried the drink at the top of the list. (I forgot the name) Both drinks were enjoyable.”
