“Duck Creek Park has some trails that run through a long field. The trails also cut down into an area alongside a creek. There is various signs explaining the evolution of Duck Creek itself. There are lots of people walking their dogs as it is a great open feel that they can run in.”

“Fantastic hike. Started at the beach, aiming for Quarry Drive. Went straight up a hill, and was moderately challenging. Leveled out, giving a great perspective of where you were, and a great forest walk over to where you are going. Love the ferns!”

“I took my dog here and out of no where there was a very sharp turn leading to our descent into the blank, empty void until a turtle on a cloud came and picked us up with a fishing rod. It was crazy, good time but I will never go back.”

“A lovely large greenspace just outside of Ganges. A full disc golf course, a small campground, and multiple trails that are dog friendly are the highlights here. With access to the roads surrounding, and a bike course near the main parking lot, this area has a lot of things to do. Explore the trails, and keep an eye out for discs that have wandered from the course.”

“My sister and I decided to camp for the night after exploring Salt Spring Island and we are so glad we ended up at Mowhinna Creek Campground. The new Managers are incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice little tour of the campground on their golf cart and quickly got us booked for the night. Fire wood is available for purchase and was delivered to our site. The bathrooms more than you could ever want in campground. The showers are also very clean. Would highly recommend this campground. Thank you Brad and Katie for the lovely stay!”

“Great trail. Love the fairy doors”
Address: Trustees Trail, Salt Spring Island, BC V8K 2Y1, Canada
“I need to be clear from the start: for the average person this is a hike, not a walk. We started from Collins Rd. The first part is steep and there are loose rocks. Wear proper shoes. The forest is gorgeous, so there are a variety of solid reasons to stop to catch your breath. Once we got into the park proper we took route 1. (The routes are well marked with red markers.) We only saw two faerie doors and did leave some small coinage. The view from the top is no doubt spectacular, but cloud/fog rolled about the time we arrived. A local couple who do the walk 3 times a week (there is a route off Juniper too), advised us to take route 2 down as it I gentler, though longer. We did and enjoyed it immensely. We took about 11/4 hours each way. At this time layers are essential along with water and an energy snack. Highly recommend.”

“A beautiful hike, with spectacular view on the top. It's a little steep, but my 8 y/o daughter did it pretty easily. We climbed up with trail 1, and went down with trail 3.”

“Very short hike, took us a leisurely 30 minutes to walk around. The path is rough terrain though, definitely not wheelchair accessible. Very nice path, no real "Wow" look out point or location, just a walk through the woods. The parking lot was hard to spot and wasn't very well maintained.”

“Great little beach that is a perfect spot for replacing and enjoying some island time. Perfect little spot.”
