Chuck's Burger Bar

I'd give it five stars except for the fact that all toppings and sauces (and there are many available) are all put on top. I tried to make a regular burger with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and Chuck's sauce. Just got a tiny drop of sauce, a lot of shredded lettuce, tomato and onion all stacked on top of a 6oz patty. It was good. And as in every burger place in Canada, the law requires it be cooked well, well, well done. Seems like there should be sauce top and bottom, tomato and lettuce on bottom, and onion on top, just to balance the stack. I'll be back and won't complain. It was pretty good food and lots of great non-burget items on their menu.

So far my vacation on Vancouver Island has been highlighted by Chuck's. The burgers were delicious, especially since you can customize it to make sure it's exactly what you want. The staff were very friendly but not fake, just genuinely down to earth people. Everything on the menu is so creative and different and most of the prices are affordable. The environment was welcoming and friendly. I especially loved the wood bar and tables. The only issue I have was the area it was in but everything else really made it amazing.

Really good food, it's all customizable which is neat. In a kind of weird location, and food took a while. Overall very good

Chucks Burgers are Delicious!! The menu has a fantastic build your own burger section with tons of options, and very reasonably priced. The bacon patty is amazing, and the bacon wrapped cheddar balls are decadent! Good service to boot!

BACON! It’s so fun to order the bacon apply. Pints are fresh and frosty. Service can be really slow, but the food is good. When it is cold out watch out... sitting near the door is freezing. We really enjoy coming.
