“Like other reviews, my wife and I had the fettuccine alfredo and the sure seemed separated to us. Our kids had spaghetti and the sauce tasted like it was from a can to me. But it wasn't terrible and we all left totally filled up. The service was slower than I would have liked even though the place want busy. Perhaps had we ordered something Greek we would have liked it more.”

“It was cold and crisp outside we stopped in for a lunch break and to warm up. This place was so welcoming and service was awesome. We ordered pizza to share. It was quick and it was delicious. What impressed me the most was how the staff sat together to enjoy their lunch like a family. This was not just lunch but a cultural experience. “The food was delicious, Thai corner restaurant is a great place for a nice buffet. The price is pretty reasonable for a buffet. The food was very flavourful. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed my visit every plate would look different as a buffet can decorate in any former fashion the plate that you eat from. It's totally up to you how you wanna organize it on your pland the combination of different flavors that will intrigue your taste buds. I will be going back great job Cooks....”

“First time to this little Mexican gem! Cozy, clean and friendly. Excellent food and nice selection. We had the Fiesta Taco salad with pulled pork. And the chicken burritos. “What a little gem that’s been opened just under a month. We just stopped by here for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered spicy dumplings, dumpling noodles and Dan Dan mein and enjoyed it. The Dan Dan is not your your classic peanut style but we thoroughly enjoyed it to the fullest. It was an absolute comforting and delicious bite after bite. We also had a sampler of the wonton soup, and let me tell you the umami in the broth and this whole meal is spectacular. Not your average wonton broth at all. We sat outside on the patio tables and enjoyed the perfect hot meal for late fall. I’m very pleased we stumbled this little place. The owner was so friendly and we let him know that we’ll be regulars!”

“Hello everyone. If you ever find yourself in Sidney here on Vancouver island do yourself a favour a stop in to say hi to the excellent staff at Boondocks B&G. This is a fantastic local pub that has some killer grub and a live venue you won’t soon forget. I know the chef personally and he’s always around making sure that only the best comes to your table. The owner is a great guy with a real down to earth welcome to my pub/ home kind of attitude. He’s always making sure that everything and everyone is well takin care of. Not to mention the live entertainment he’s bringing in house. A very long over due venue needed here in this fantastic little town by the sea. So if you’re looking for a great meal or a 6 nights a week venue of great music and dancing, along with great service get your crew over to Boondocks. Tell them Dino sent you 👌🏼 Cheers.”

“5 of us arrived without reservations on a very busy summer evening. The hostess was exceptionally helpful multitasking to ensure we were seated as quickly as possible. The very ambitious but well priced menu worried me but every order exceeded our expectations for flavour quality and presentation. The alcohol menu was well chosen. Staff were great! Highly recommend this beautiful Italian dining location. Next time we will make reservations!”
