“We were bathed in late afternoon sunshine coming in straight off Montague Harbour at the Crane and Robin Bistro and what a fabulous dinner of seared local tuna, a divine curried cauliflower taco, smoked salmon chowder and wonderful service my family had! You could come for the view and glistening sea alone but to eat this delicious fare as well, this restaurant is a must. Bring friends and show off Galiano Island, C&R was packed.... so you might want to come early to be seated soonest.”

“Beautiful Scenery and a Real Accomplishment! Booked a 6-hour tour for my group of 12 people. We lucked out with weather and 2 fantastic guides to tour us around Galiano Island. They were informative, patient, and fun! Only feedback is the tour was a lot of paddling straight out and straight back. Not enough time spent popping in/out of coves or along beaches. This is in part due to the Galiano coastline, but I think the route could have been shortened with more opportunity to stop and take our time. We were absolutely exhausted by the end, but we had a great time and felt very accomplished!”

“If you’re into unique flavors and ingredients, this is the place for you! I loved the use of local ingredients (including things like seaweed and pine). The fixed menu had a lot of variety and we left full of delicious food. The setting is picturesque being in the forest; it felt very magical. Great service as well.”

“Though we came to Galiano to hike, we found ourselves hurrying back early to enjoy the peace of the beachhouse. There's nothing like watching the ferries pass at sunset while soaking in a hot tub, or seeing them sail by from the comfort of a soft bed. The owners are nice, kind, and very helpful. They've thought of everything you might need for your stay and even dropped us off at the ferry when it was time for to go (picking us up from the farmers market down the road so we could buy up some provisions for our ferry ride). I look forward to going back soon! Hopefully, I'll see the orcas on our next visit - they pass by from time to time.”
