“Our last stay at The Tides was such a great experience and escape from the city! Great location being near the ferry and not far from the town stores. We stayed at the larger house - Arbutus, it has everything you need with more than enough space for a group. The views were beautiful and you can even access the water. Plenty of things to keep you entertained on the grounds with games, pool and hot tub use. We'll definitely be booking again soon!”

“This is a nice setting of rustic cottages next to the sea . The cottages are on an overgrown acreage and they definitely need work, but inside they are clean and cozy. Very nostalgic with original 60s fixtures and amenities. Even the pool looks like it's from the 50/60s era. The kitchen includes most things you'd expect. They also supply fresh beans, grinder, and a Boddum (nice touch). Don't forget to bring your own cream and sugar as you won't find any there. I take mine black and the coffee was great. If you are hoping for a peaceful time, you'd better check to see who else will be there when you are. During our visit, a group of 6 was in the 2 bdr cottage. This included a baby that screamed almost non-stop each afternoon. This party of 6, with screaming infant, monopolized the pool all afternoon for the 2 days we were there. Shame about that. But instead we visited to whole island. It's a nice little drive with a few interesting restaurants and pubs to enjoy. Not to mention the many parks and trails. Our deck, with a lovely view wasn't habitable during the afternoons, so we opted for the amazing sunset instead. The cottages have a nice western exposure to take advantage of those wonderful evenings. I'm sure it could be a great vacation spot. Although, it fell just a bit short for us.”

“The Currents at Otter Bay is the best place to stay on Pender Island. I liked it so much after seeing the resort, that I bought a quarter share in one of the cottages, that very day and have been a proud owner for about four years. Overlooking the Salish Sea, a four minute walk from the ferry and only a few hundred yards from the golf course, what more could you ask for? There are always cottages you can find to rent and if you check the MLS, you may find one to buy.”

“Excellent off-season bike camping destination. There’s no potable water at the campground though, so make sure to bring all the water you need with you. There are only a handful of tent pads, too, so if you go during high season you’d be wise to arrive as early as you can. There is an outhouse on site. In my experience camping here it is a great place for spotting wildlife. There is a lake up the roads that’s worth having a stroll around, too.”

“We loved this place. Had an amazing experience. The host knows how to make you feel welcome. I don't eat meat and he was able to accommodate me for breakfast. I will definitely come back and spread the word about how Wood is an awesome place”

“Lovely small campsite on North Pender. Most sites have great privacy and are set back into the woods. Access to the Heart Trail right from the campsite which goes to the disc golf park. Very close to amenities and ferry terminal but you wouldn't know it from the campsite - very quiet and peaceful. I will likely go back”

“This waterfront cottage is perfect! It has everything you need with a comfortable bed, fully furnished kitchen, large patio off dining room, small patio off bedroom upstairs, both with spectacular scenic views. The property is filled with beautiful flower gardens. It's truly paradise here and you will want to stay more than a week! We saw otters, eagles, blue herons, and more!”

“Our experience at this B & B was very pleasant. Our young dog had the run of the property and couldn't have been treated more kindly. As for my wife and I, our bedroom was decorated with nautical antiques and the adjoining bathroom appeared new. Guests have a large television/games/reading room in which to take their leisure. The breakfast was delicious and very health conscious. Both hosts Dave and Tanya are wonderful, warm people with a font of information and Dave's stories will have you laughing.”

“My wife and I stayed here when visiting the island for a wedding. The only downside to our stay was that we didn't get to spend much time at the Inn. The room was very cute and the view was stunning. The shower is a bit tricky to work, but the beds are very comfortable and there is a microwave, toaster oven and small outdoor propane grill for preparing food. There is also a hot tub outside looking over the water. We will absolutely be planning a stay here again in the future.”

“My wife and I stayed in Shangri-La B&B for four days, love it. The room is clean and queen bed is very comfy. The owner couple are very kind and friendly, gave us an island exploring day trip! Above all, the stunning oceanfront view is amazing, we can see so many different view changes even in a day! After the day activities, you can either sit in the deck and enjoy the ocean sound or sit in the couch inside and listen the classic musics from the owners collection, the mind is relaxed and heart is peaceful. We will definitely come back! Recommend to everyone.”
