“We were so hungry after we get off the boat. So happy to find a little local restaurant at the Marina. The food was good. The service was great. The view at the restaurant is awesome with a beautiful sunset. Water is a big concern because they are on an island. But we brought enough water for ourselves. There were no shower facilities. We rented out a scooter right by the Marina and went for a little trip around the island. It was a very pleasant experience being there. We also went off with the dinghy to a shell beach right by the Montague Harbour Provincial Park. The water was so clear and beautiful! We plan to come back for camping in the future. The little shop at the Marina has some fresh produce and supplies. If you want to cook on your boat, you get that option too.”

“Fantastic service and a must-do on Galiano! We rented mopeds from Frank (owner) who is so kind and helpful! Frank provided detailed recommendations of places to visit on the island for sight seeing and dining. We went around Bellhouse Park, the bluffs, and visited some other viewpoints that Frank recommended. It is a much different and fun experience when you travel via a moped throughout the island. We also stopped by Scoops for the most delicious fish and chips!! Thank you, Frank!”

“We loved this cottage! Our family of four (including one wheelchair) stayed here August 2020. The cottage is in a perfect location for ferries, walking to town and the farmer's market. It's a short drive or bike ride to great hiking, the local brewery and other shopping on the island. There are movies and games for rainy days and the kitchen is fully stocked for any kind of meal. The property is gorgeous to walk around and lots for the kids to see and do. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Our last stay at The Tides was such a great experience and escape from the city! Great location being near the ferry and not far from the town stores. We stayed at the larger house - Arbutus, it has everything you need with more than enough space for a group. The views were beautiful and you can even access the water. Plenty of things to keep you entertained on the grounds with games, pool and hot tub use. We'll definitely be booking again soon!”
