Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria Uptown

Mike was super welcoming. I was able to use a discount from my work and also get a couple of extra benefits as a gold member with Wyndham. The room I had was just in front of where I left my rental vehicle which made keeping an eye on it and transfering luggage much easier. The room was very comfortable and everything worked as expected. Walking to the top floor rhe view from the balcony is also very nice.

It was clean enough if you are looking for something affordable... Did not like the area so checked out the next day for a hotel in the city centre.

Stars for good wifi, comfy beds, somewhat updated

Negatives- shower water changes from warm to scalding hot to freezing as you shower. Fan in bathroom extremely loud. Room change is every 3rd day. Tiny kitchens

Note the laundry pool and gym are still closed.

Absolutely awesome customer service. Its definitely not in the most desirable location however it’s proximity to the trail which takes you to the downtown core is very useful and scenic. They have a cat named Oreo which is the hotel cat as they say. This cat likes to sleep in the front of the office during the day and occasionally likes to walk out and not care if cars are driving in-front of it. Overall very cute. Sam texted me and checked up on me which was awesome. They are super nice.
