LOVE our doctor and your new admin staff are wonderful! The only reason for the 4 stars is the lack of online services. I know a booking system is coming, but it would also be great to see a way to share lab requisitions and other paperwork, such as letters, forms etc. securely online with patients. I actually pay for an online secure fax service so I can receive my lab requisitions, without having to go to the office. I understand there are legalities, but I have had other medical offices email me lab requisitions (specialists I have been referred to), so I can only assume they have end-to-end encryption? I live in the Westshore, so the extra travel time is not practical for me, or sometimes possible, during the work week. Sending a requisition to a specific lab is also not efficient because I seek out the most convenient lab using the save-my-spot app due to my busy schedule. This is further complicated by my 85 year old Mum who needs frequent labs as I deal with all her medical needs too. If you can find an online way to deal with lab reqs, that would be amazing! Thank you again, and so grateful to have the best family doctor!!
Edit August 25, 2022: Wow! The new Office Manager is on the ball; she called to discuss my review. That was excellent customer service. I guess there are times when the receptionists can not answer the calls as they are assisting with patience. The Office Manager did say they are working on getting an online booking system which would be incredible! I feel for anyone working in the medical field in today's world. It's not easy. Thank you for taking time out of your day to call me. That was pretty neat and most definitely appreciated.
I've called twice today and the phone rings and rings. I would email if I could to ask for an appointment but they don't have an email address. I am not sure what is happening that they can't answer my call. If they are busy I would think my call would be answered and I'd be put on hold but to not answer at all is a bit concerning. Hopefully it's just a technical error.
I like my doctor. She is great. I am so thankful to have a GP given the state of the health care system.
Updated May 2022: The last couple times I've called in, I've talked to the same person and they have been quite friendly and understanding.

I would give my doctor a 4 or 5, but like many other reviewers, likely came here to complain about the admin staff that I repeatedly find to lack empathy. Maybe they're not treated well by the doctors or the patients, I don't know, but it really does suck.
You also cannot leave voicemails nor contact the facility via email or anything else. Being able to book appointments or request prescription refills online would be amazing. I have to remember to call two weeks before my prescription runs out to ensure I get a phone appointment in time.
The building and location are nice for what it's worth.
