Royal Scot Hotel & Suites

Roxanne deserves 5+ stars for her attention to the small things that make the visit extra special. It was our anniversary and upon our arrival she left a wonderful gift(s) for us in our room. It was so very thoughtful that it truly started everything off to a perfect beginning.
The Hotel was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were courteous and friendly.
The kitchen was small but was well stocked with everything you need.
The bed was comfortable, however they could improve on their bedding. I found the sheets and pillows quite scratchy and the pillow quality on the lower side, too soft, no support.
Plus the quilt and blanket were very old and worn. But other than that our room was perfect.
The pool area and gym was well maintained and a lovely addition.
The bathroom and shower was spotless and had great water pressure and hot water. The living room had comfortable furniture to sit in and good sized tv with a DVD player. Although being from out of town I wish they had a better detailed channel guide. I don’t want to surf through a bunch of channels to find something.
The location was convenient and close to the harbour and walking distance to Beacon Hill park and all other attractions. Plus two grocery stores and liquor store.
We had an amazing stay right up until our last morning when their gardeners started at 7am trimming bushes and using a blower. I wish they started closer to checkout time so we could have truly 100% enjoyed our stay.
However, in saying that we would absolutely go back and recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

Love this place.. so close to the parliament building and harbour front. STAFF are wonderful!!!! Highly recommend this place.. love it so much our company always sends groups to this hotel.

Nice little hotel with plenty of amenities, great walking distance from downtown.
Pool was nice and saunas in the change rooms.

However I was over charged for parking, I have yet to receive the discount on my credit card. But I was issued a receipt so I’m sure it will come in time.

Had a great stay at your hotel. Room with a balcony and kitchen/dining area. Yes a bit dated as not enough outlets for charging phones and such but the extremely courteous staff, generously accommodating your guests requests, free shuttle, newspapers, hot coffee and the delicious apples offered in the lobby are some of the extras that make you fantastic! Thank you very much for a lovely stay!
