Cook Street Castle

Such a great team! Every person is friendly, helpful and genuine. We’re lucky to have castle in town.

This was my first visit. I was looking for cedar planters for my garden. I was looking out of season so they did not have much stock, however I talked to a very friendly and knowledgeable employee who told me what they were capable of building there. I may order some planters from them. I looked around the store and was impressed by how many different things there are there. There is a garden section, there are indoor plants, there is hardware, there's lumber, and there are some housewear items as well. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. There is parking where the exit is that goes through the middle of the block. Definitely worth a visit.

If you want to spend less time in a store and more time doing your projects, this place is great; you don’t need a bicycle to get from one end to the other. Employees are very helpful, and while the big box stores have more stuff, Castle has a good selection of things I usually need. Prices are competitive, too. The guys in the paint department in both stores are excellent.
