“Kris, of Think Renovations, has done a number of projects for me, including adding a breakfast bar and building a pergola at my old home and repainting my new condo. But it was with the refacing of my new fireplace and covering the new fireplace vents at my condo where his brilliance really shone. The new fireplace was installed by another company, as per the strata council's request, but I did not trust any one but Kris to do the rebuilding. It was a difficult project because the new fireplace extends 3.5 inches further into the living room than the old fireplace and I wanted to keep my old mantle. Kris did a wonderful job of building the mantle out while keeping its essential character. He extended the hearth and put rounded corners on all of the vent coverings. I love my new fireplace and can't thank Kris enough for the work he did on it.”
