One of the best horseback riding tour I had! Horses were gentle and appropriate for the riders, the trail loop around the lake was beautiful with different landscapes and features. Our guide was also very friendly and fun. Highly recommend!
The FlyingU has been apart of my life since I was a kid and when I met the love of my life 10 years ago it became our place.
The first place we shared our first vacation, the place we got engaged and over the weekend became the place of our fairytale wedding.
Things don’t always go perfectly and that’s apart of having an epic wedding but Lori and Steve went above and beyond trying to accommodate whatever we asked
I want to give a special shout out to cowboy Steve, the only and only the man who makes the flying U just that much more memorable. He graced us with the most cowboy Steve like speech ever (which we approved of)… he forever has a space in our hearts and memories for the most epic weekend
Lori, couldn’t of done this weekend without you… thank you for dealing with all the craziness that comes with a wedding and with a smile on your face
Price wise, I’ll be honest it’s expensive.. but hands down I wouldn’t change the weekend or memories we made for anything.
The Ranch is awesome. I give the rooms only two star because they are very basic and the cabins don't have an attached bathroom, you have to walk to the bathhouse. There is no luxury in the cabins. But they do their best to keep them clean and the sheets and beds are comfy.
The food is excellent and they can and do accommodate any dietary requirements. I think this chef was much better than previous visits.
The riding is great they match you with a horse to your abilities and let you go.
The downside... while they do have maps and signage.... THEY NEED BETTER MAPS AND SIGNAGE! It can't be that hard to put a better map together and fix the signs.
Everyone was so cheerful and friendly - staff and guests - everyone was happy to be there! Me too - for 7 nights
Horses were well matched to riders - and the wranglers were terrific
The views and the trails and the changing big sky were awesome!
I loved it
Thank you for the warm welcome, yummy meals and adorable and comfortable accommodations. But really it was Wrangler Steve, owner John as well as his entire staff who made us feel like family. The atmosphere was like stepping back to cowboy times, with rustic cabins, an adorable theatre and saloon ! We were matched with experienced horses, and guides who took us through back country that was so beautiful- seeing all kinds of wildlife. Steve taught us so much in such a short time and really connected us to our horses.
Wake up early to see the horses called in from overnight pastures and feel the thunder! We can’t wait to return!
Most greatfull for the girls weekend memories that we can’t wait to repeat.
Thank you so much again for accommodating us on short notice after such a crushing experience being rejected to ride at SUNDANCE RANCH due to a humiliating weigh in and unfortunately being five pounds over a weight restriction.
