Great food, value for money, home cooked feeling, friendly staff, fast service. Great spot for lunch. They do run out of the specials or possibly other things on the menu.

Stopped by here on a whim and so glad we did! Food was exceptional and tasted like good home cooking. Staff was the most friendly we’ve come across in a long time. Seen that my girlfriend was expecting and offered us a free take-home soup. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience :)

It doesn’t look like much when you arrive, order at the counter, take a seat, they bring your lunch. The food is great, the selection extensive, the service spectacular. We must have been asked six times by different wait staff if everything was okay! I’d highly recommend Hobo’s. Great broad mix of humanity.Try the Rueben and house soup! Mostly larger shared tables.Take out and take-away soups etc.

Absolutely delighted in the service and wonderful food this restaurant has. The staff are fantastic and bring me back to simpler times of diners and my grandmas kitchens.

The food is wonderfully hearty, wholesome and made with love. We enjoyed a hearty hamburger soup (The Hobo) and my favourite the Mulligatawny. The staff are warm, personal and very friendly.

Can’t wait to go back and try some of the daily specials!
