Chinese Laundry Restaurant The

An absolutely fantastic and very authentic place for szechuan and Cantonese. The authenticity is the best part. From the friendly and very thick accented Chinese man who takes your order and cools your food, to the small atmosphere. It really does feel so personable and delicious. Like home cooked but with a refined flair and high quality ingredients. The menu is not too massive but quite big and everything on there is delicious, albeit overpriced by 3 dollars or so. But if you want REAL Chinese food and personable home cooked feel its amazing. Its very relaxing as well as it is out of the way and quiet. Great to bring friends and hog the place!

My only critique really is price per portion size. But I mean it does average out to about 2 people fed with a dish and therefore about 8 to 10 bucks a person. Seems reasonable to me for the best Chinese in kelowna.

Not bad but could be better. Well every restaurant has own receipe. Slightly different then other chinese restaurants in Vancouver. Egg foo yong was great. Chinese style pork thing has strong scent that made my hunger go away . Over all it's okay .
Can't judge at the first visit
