Course was in fantastic shape. Great staff and facilities. Front 7 holes were enjoyable. The course starts to go downhill based on design. Too much design school used on each hole. False fronts. Watched two playing partners hit great wedge shots into 10 only to slide off the front and leave a brutal pitch from 45 yards. How too create slow golf perfected. OVER DESIGNED....Not sure what is being attempted here but I would gather repeat play will be a constant issue. Sad because it has some very nice holes. Give me a traditional golf layout any day.
I played the course in late September and it was spectacular! Some of the truest greens I've putted on. There is a lot of construction and development happening all around the course and it can be a little distracting and an eyesore. But you can't stop progress. 5/5
Excellent experience. The course is incredibly well kept, and in great shape. The greens are tough, but hitting approaches off of lush fairways mean you always have the chance of getting closer to the pin. Views are incredible as well. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. My only criticism would be a few of the bunkers were like playing off a cart path, which is fine so long as you know ahead of time.
Lots to enjoy at this course. Great views and challenging layout that punishes errant shots with deep deep rough.
Won't be playing here again though. Although the greens look good they're absolutely crazy. Perhaps suitable for tour pros, but nearly every green is unmanageable. I'm always up for a challenge but the slightest touch will send the ball off the fringe... Spoiled an otherwise fun round.
