(March 19, 2019, 5:18 am)Thursday's all you can eat schnitzel dinner is excellent. Great schnitzel, spatzle noodles, and so many extras....beets, sauerkraut.....and dessert too. You will not leave happy, not hungry!
(March 13, 2019, 1:46 am)Very cool restaurant with a beautiful lake view! You feel like you stepped into a tavern in Germany. I thought the ambiance was more exciting than the food... I ordered the schnitzel which I found heavy, boring and bland. They have a great IPA on tap though. I loved the unique decor but this likely wouldn’t be a good restaurant for vegans... the menu is meat, meat and more meat and there are taxidermied animals everywhere!
(March 9, 2019, 9:41 pm)I love this place! Incredible food and absolutely delicious desserts. Has a homey feel to it. I had the half duck dish and it was a big portion. A gem and i can't wait to be back for more tasty food!
(March 8, 2019, 10:12 pm)What a time!! I just had my birthday Medieval Feast at the Gasthaus this week, and it was fantastic! The multiple reservation adjustments were met graciously with a friendly and helpful voice. The atmosphere was so charming and fun, and the food was amazing (holy meat sweats!). Our server, Monica, was incredible - helpful, friendly, easygoing, and super on top of everything. We had an issue getting a cab home from Peachland due to the snowy conditions, and Monica and Tuesday took care of us to make sure we we got home safe and sound. Thanks for a memorable and delicious birthday!
