“This park allows dogs on trails and sidewalk. Keep them on leash and clean up after them. Great place for a walk. Drive south on Gordon to the Lequime Rd entrance. The perimeter road circles around the outer edge of this park with lots of places to park. We always drive past the Capital New Centre before parking. You can choose between an all-accessible paved trail or a dirt trail. Lots of bird song as you walk along this level wetlands trail. We have seen ducks, otters, and eagles.”

“I always love going to the dollar stores because I think wow look at all this stuff for so little!! I look around and see a couple of candies grab them and see this awesome, say toy and I grab it but it then take it home and two minutes later it breaks. Admit it this always happens to us we have an instant reflex to buy something that we think is pretty good quality but then. It breaks. Dollar store are always known for their poor qualities that is the sad downside of this store”

“Yamato (both West K and Kelowna) has been our go to for quite a few years. The food is generally pretty good and quite reasonably priced. Unfortunately our experience at the \west Kelowna location this week left us quite disappointed - it was very crowded likely being a contributing factor. The service was great, cheerful competent waitperson, but food just OK. What I really want to say about the place though is the state of cleanliness, the floors and furniture ok but the ceiling not so much. Looks like cooking oil covered light fixture in the ceiling, dust covered mechanical services and so on. Certainly takes the "edge" off of the experience.”

“The Bear Creek Hill hike sort of reminded me of the hike to the Palm Desert Cross in some ways. It's a nice steady up hill climb, but with trees , valleys, rivers, waterfalls & stairs. It levels off in some parts so you're not panting the entire trek. Good for beginners & intermediate hikers. Nice family and/or friend hike. Dogs are welcome. Took us about one hour all the way to the top & down. Loved it. (As for the camp ground across the street- we parked near there and strolled through it; seemed more like a parking lot than a camp ground, although we did see some treed areas. I found it noisy from generators & loud people & kids. I wouldn't camp there. It's not my idea of camping.”
