Thank you to Copper Island Fine Homes for helping us realize our dream home. The project went smoothly and quickly, despite Covid restrictions. Copper Island kept us in the loop about finances and timing. We always had the feeling that they had our best interests at heart. The staff and sub-trades were all excellent to work with. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone building a home in this area.

I cannot believe that any one who has dealt with this company, Greg and Tracey Vistisen and their very capable staff and contractors could give a review of anything less than 5 stars.
From our very first meeting Greg made us feel that he was confident that they could build the home we wanted. And they did.
We were quite specific that we wanted a West Coast Modern build in order to take advantage of our view overlooking Shuswap Lake. Greg gave us the name of Motivo and Design, in Kamloops, and Chris McNeil and Deanne Roberts (now still with Chris but with her own company, Fine and Dandy Interiors) designed our dream home.
Throughout construction we were kept informed of each step and provided with choices for alternate quality materials if we were going over budget. Their sub-contractors and project managers were very competent and often, with their experience, able to make practical improvements on some of our choices.
I cannot state strongly enough that this could have been a stressful experience but was made so much easier by how pleasant everyone was to deal with from Greg and Tracey, the office staff, and everyone who worked on the house.
We would highly recommend Copper Island Fine Homes to anyone who is contemplating a new build or renovation.

From past involvement with renovations to our primary residence, we decided that we would want a builder to supervise the process from start to finish. After doing market research, our first choice was Copper Island Fine Homes (CIFH) based on their reputation and personal recommendations. Our experience with the construction of our waterfront home on Shuswap Lake allows us to recommend CIFH without reservation.

From our first meeting with Greg Vistisen in February 2018, CIFH was attentive and understanding of what we envisioned for our new home and we were provided with a clear explanation of the process involved with construction. Coordination of the construction process was seamless and with no unnecessary delays. Administrative details were handled efficiently and the communication system used to monitor the construction process allowed for timely decisions and transparency.

CIFH arranged for us to meet with the appropriate professionals and trades workers whom they vetted for their quality and reliability. On site supervisors, in collaboration with the trades and professionals, were able identify problems and provide solutions that fit with our vision and minimized stress. Attention to detail and pride in workmanship was a hallmark.

CIFH is an outstanding builder with a team that makes a difference. They communicate effectively and execute a customer’s vision efficiently and to a very high standard.

When we first met Greg that day on the empty lot that was to become our dream home we knew we had made the right decision to build with Copper Island Fine Homes.
What we did not know was all that went into building on a challenging lot such as the one we had selected. Thankfully, CHFI did and put together a team that ensured we not only have an exceptional structurally sound home but also unique, beautiful and well constructed.
CHFI worked with us from the beginning to ensure they knew what we envisioned and provided recommendations on things we had not considered.
Throughout the build, there were no cutting of corners and every detail was quality checked by one of their professionals. As situations came up, as they always do when building a custom home, they were quick to keep us informed and provided sound guidance. With us living in a different city and not able to have regular onsite visits we relied on Copper Island Fine Homes to build our home as if they were building their own.
