“My friend and I had the best time at this hostel. There were no other reservations, so we got a really personable experience. Joel, the manager was truly an amazing guy. He answered all our questions with lots of thought and patience. He even invited us to a morning hike, which turned out to be the most scenic one on our trip. Really good conversations, great service and you can't beat the hostel view!”

“We spent an extended weekend at this lodge during the summer. Was an incredible time. Our party consisted of 10 adults and 2 children, the lodge was more than enough space for all of us. Easy access to amazing hiking, and the sauna at the end of each trek made for a great finish to each day. Highly recommend, would stay here again.”

“Wow! This fall has POWER! couldn’t get anywhere near the base of the fall due to the intense winds it generates, but easily one of the best falls I visited on the west coast. Make sure you have a confident driver navigating, as there are many hairpin turns leading up to the parking lot.”

“We just spent a long weekend at the lodge with our group and our time there exceeded all expectations! Thank you to our wonderful hosts for making such a wonderful facility available for groups like ours to spend time together to study God's word, enjoy to beautiful surrondings, and time together. The lodge is very nicely made, the kitchen well stocked and our hosts were always available for questions, suggestions, and help throughout the stay. We look forward to our next stay there!”

“Great campground central to Canada's parks. We had a site with a shelter and plenty of space for two tents. The restroom/shower was clean and coin laundry was on site. Water spigots were conveniently located for non-hook ups sites. WiFi is provided. The staff was very friendly as were the other campers in this smaller campground. I would camp their again for sure.”

“I went to this place as a kid and wow, what an experience. Fran who used to run it (this was 20 years ago so not sure of her status now) was the absolute sweetest lady and a real one. No electricity in that place when I went there. It was a real escape. If you've read about it and are thinking of making it a destination, absolutely don't miss it.”

“Carla has the most joyful, colourful and nostalgic collection of flowers in the valley. Her love for what she does shines through and through in her product and style. With a focus on sustainable and thoughtful farming, this local floral farm is something that should be celebrated! I cannot recommend Carla enough for your bundles of floral goodness or your special wedding day! You won't be disappointed.”

“Came across this local gem whilst driving through spillimacheen. It's a local bee farm set up by Claire and her partner. Claire is very friendly and we spent a good fifteen minutes learning about her story, the local area and the types of honeys. This is a great place to pick up some gifts with some locally sourced honey.”

“Beautiful backcountry hut, exceedingly accessible in the winter via a straightforward skin up a summer road. While the surrounding area doesn't offer a lot in the way of phenomenal ski terrain, the region is stunning and perfect for exploring by skinning. The site boasts two huts--one larger main cabin and a smaller adjacent sleeping hut. Both were well maintained, clean, and warm whenever I've visited.”

“While the ski up to the lodge is stunning, the view pales in comparison to standing at the lake, looking at the amphitheater of mountains that surround you. The beautifully rustic but well maintained and warm lodge, made for a wonderful lunch stop. Claire, one of the staff, was very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us for lunch! The warm tea and delicious hot food really hit the spot after the ski in. Would highly recommend making the trip out for the breathtaking views and 5 star cuisine! Don't forget to bring cash for lunch (30$/person and includes dessert and coffee)”
