“Needs someone to train their kitchen and serving staff. Food quality is hit and miss, service has no organization and frequently sends food to wrong table. Served food to one person in our group immediately and everyone else waited 20 minutes. Great live music! Friendly servers too!”

“My family and i spent a week at son country chalet and it was Amazing! Its located In a perfect convenient area of scotch creek close to the grocery store and 2 minute walk to a beautiful public beach! We enjoyed our evenings around the camp fire and In the hot tub. The stars are soo clear at night its unreal! Also had alot of fun playing pool with a full size pool table in the living room and had great times on the massive sun deck. The house is absolutely gorgeous with a cozy log house feel and the kids had a blast playing in the loft area. I would recommend to stay at Son country chalet 100% if you plan on going to the North Shuswap! It's the perfect get away!”

“Nice trip to the beach with the family and the dog. Both my daughter and the dog enjoyed the water. Beach is rocky so I'd recommend either sandals or water shoes. There are also public life jackets available if needed on the honor system. Washrooms are close to the beach with flushing toilets.”

“This was the best location for our wedding and one of my now favorite vacation locations. Greg, the property manager was absolutely amazing and worked with us on every level, we couldn't have asked for any better. THANK YOU GREG!! The cabins are super clean and the kitchens are well stocked with all your kitchen needs. The grounds are well kept. We will be trying to make this a yearly vacation destination.”

“Awesome views of the lake and surrounding landscape. Safe, quiet and peaceful in the cabins on the ridge. We had a group of 5 and there was more than enough room for all of us to be comfortable. Would stay here again!”

“This place was so fun. The dog beach is much appreciated by my 4 legged monster. The water in the cove is was lovely, but the beach water was gorgeous. Very helpful ladies at the desk, in fact, all staff were very friendly. The 2 downsides are the traffic noise, but we were close to the road and I imagine it is not as noisy on the other side of the resort. The other downside is the mosquito's (so not the resorts fault), bring coils and spray. The resort even arranged a "Halloween Night in August" the kids got to collect candy! Thanks so much for the great memories!”
