Driven by a million times and only now stopped on our day visit to the enchanted forest. Kids loved the pools and a dip after a hot and smokey day. My favorite was the hot and cold pool alternating. There are three temperature hot pools. The large one is great for kids. Facility was clean, bathrooms were clean and the pool and pool deck were well organized. Might have to camp here in future.
We had such a great time at crazy creeks. The pools were so welcoming especially after a swim in the crazy creek, a short walk from our campsite. The walk to the suspension bridge shows such a diverse amount of trees. Loved it. The bridge itself was very cool and a cool little sitting area with games for the kids on the other side. The campsite was nice and large. Yes there are trains that go by but loved seeing them. All in all great time.
Just got back from a great trip to Crazy Creek Resort with my whole family we rented three suites and 2 campsites for three nights. We really enjoyed swimming in the Eagle river right behind the campground. The suites were very nice and everything was modern and updated. The staff is very friendly, and the pools are very nice (although we enjoyed the river more in the hot weather). Yes there are trains but they didn't bother anyone's sleep at all and they can be fun to watch.
Our family just did our second trip out to Crazy Creek this summer! We again had such a great time (hence the return trip). This time we actually stayed 5 nights with 2 other families. The staff were so accommodating in getting us the best sites where we could all be in a row. These are our favorite hot pools - there are 4 pools of different temps, and with the hot weather we had such a blast with the plunge pool. The water and pool deck were so clean and well maintained! We stayed in the new fully serviced campsites, and the plants and trees we backed onto made us feel so secluded and so shaded - which was perfect for us with small kids. We thought 5 days would be long, but we spent days at the hot pools; playing in the forest behind our lot; fishing and wading and throwing rocks at the Crazy Creek and then the Eagle River; walking up to the suspension bridge and then stopping at the little park and ice cream area for an afternoon of giant Jenga; making an ice cream afternoon at Dutchmen Dairy; and doing Enchanted Forest. There’s so much we didn't get to out that way too as far as tourist attractions in that area. Overall, not even the bit of hazy smoke out there during our stay could hide the natural beauty of this place. Loved it. Great trip. Thank you!
