We were too tired to hear the train so it didn’t bother us. Clean showers and restrooms. Everything was working perfectly. Free Wi-Fi is convenient after driving 100km without network.
There are loonie operated showers that weren't mentioned on the website. Otherwise, the campground was quiet and clean as advertised. The train goes through 3-4 times each night with no whistle.
Great campground central to Canada's parks. We had a site with a shelter and plenty of space for two tents. The restroom/shower was clean and coin laundry was on site. Water spigots were conveniently located for non-hook ups sites. WiFi is provided. The staff was very friendly as were the other campers in this smaller campground. I would camp their again for sure.
Rustic campground, with full-services. Neat tenting sites with covered tables. Playground under construction, looks like it will be fun. Close to the highway and the train tracks, but not noisy. Has clean bathrooms and laundry. Amazing views.
We had to stop in fairly last minute while coming from Montana through to Vancouver. The Campground welcomed us with open arms and helped us pick the campsite best suited for our needs. They offered us free use of their multiple axes and fire wood. The staff was super helpful, very friendly, and sorted out our drop-in booking really fast.
I highly recommend this place if you need to stop in for a quick 1-nighter or even for a few days of peaceful relaxation. They have some very beautiful mountain and lake/pond scenery around the campground.
They are located on the edge of the train tracks if the train is something that would bother you, this was not a problem for us what so ever.
Lastly, this place has some room to grow, there is still some untamed/undeveloped area of the campground. I could see this place becoming even better and hope to see them grow at our next stop in at Quinn Creek.
