The Shuswap sports many Provincial Park options (all the dark blue spots). Some sites have tables and toilets whereas others are just a nice beach. Make sure you know the rules before camping, including bring cash for staying the night ($20/night). Park Operators visit daily to check up, sell permits, and hand out tickets if necessary.

Such a beautiful park worth our 11 hour drive! The lake, with all it's arms, is a great place to enjoy the beauty of British Columbia. The park is kept very clean, while avoiding altering too much of the natural scape. I recommend filling your trip with as many hikes as you can, since each has it's unique appeal. We rented a house boat from Twin Anchors for our week travel and it was such an amazing holiday. Highly recommend by myself!
