They go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make your stay there wonderful. We have been using this company for a very long time and will continue to do so!! Always a Beautiful trip on well maintained boats!

Highly recommend this company. We had such a great experience in July that we went back again for a second trip at the end of August. Karen was always super helpful and nice to talk to.
The boats are a lot of fun. People expecting all modern things should likely look elsewhere. You won’t be finding wifi capabilities, or state of the art decor or USB plugs in ever corner etc. What you will find is a refreshing throw back to simpler times where you don’t miss being so overly consumed by technology. Both trips went by far too fast and if this boarder situation keeps up we will definitely be back next summer!

Had an AMAZING experience with Bluewater Houseboats. Karen is so quick at responding to emails and answered every question I had along the way. Eric was so helpful with explaining how the boat ran and was patient with us throughout the experience. The price is reasonable and is definitely lower than other houseboat companies in the area. 10/10 would recommend and cannot wait to book again for a future summer vacation!

It is the people at Bluewater House Boat who I am giving the high star rating to. Our boat had several mechanical failures (alternator broke, drainage pipe broke, we couldn't reverse the boat, hydraulic fluid was empty, no coolant, starter was broken), and during a storm, which was very scary and made for an unpleasant boating experience.

Bluewater did, however, very quickly send us help (thank you Dave!!) and acknowledged all the issues by giving us a discount on our rental.

Aside from the fact that the boat didn't work properly, the boat itself was very clean, well stocked, checking in and out was a breeze, and the staff at Bluewater are great. I am still glad we chose to rent with Bluewater over some of the other companies, despite the boat malfunctions.

Thanks again Karen for doing your best in an unfortunate situation, and many many thanks to Dave for rescuing us multiple times!

Just awesome! Karen, Eric and crew were totally helpful and supportive of our group. A group of 9 family members spent 6 days together catching up and enjoying the Shuswap on a houseboat. First time for all of us on a houseboat and it was just superb. We were on one of the small boats and still lots of space and privacy if needed. Great weather. Karen was very helpful when we booked and answered all our newbie questions. Eric had to get us out and into the channel because of high water levels (train bridge had to swing for houseboats to pass) and he was great. Can't speak highly enough of the team at Bluewater and we had the best time ever. Gonna do it again for sure!
