This is a very quick visit. There is a little gift shop with some cute souvenirs. There are a few artifacts to view and monuments with information about the Last Spike. The area is well groomed and is a great spot for a picnic or to stretch your legs if you've been traveling.
Awesome to see. Would love to have had more time to spend there. Will try to post photos later.
It’ll do as a rest stop if you need a break while driving through. Felt fairly safe but isn’t that well lit. Lots of highway noise as trucks pass through 24/7. Trucks pulling into the stop do their best to be quiet and park accordingly. There’s a section for cars and the odd unintentional spot you can try to park in, just be sure to not block areas for large trucks.
Can’t say how the facilities were, didn’t feel like risking it late at night.
Small grass areas for pet relief.
Train tracks on the other side of the lot, noise for most of the night.
It’ll do, if it’s just a stop that you need.
Great place to stop and stretch. Have a lunch. Also has wifi hot spot.
Great place to stop, take a whiz. Walk around and check out some history. Also, being I was the passenger on this trip, it was also a great place to stop and have a hoot.
There is a gift shop there to.
