Its a Canadian Forces installation. Can't really elaborate.
Was an honor to work with the glider ops team in support of the Cadets.
The amount of hard work and professionalism is very evident at this base. These are the guys who risk their lives to save some of your loved ones in weather conditions you wouldn't walk in. They also fly Northern Artic protrols and surveillance missions.
August 8th, 2018 Y2K returns home after 5000 mile solo flight by D. Hadfield. A very nice surprise and to honour W/C (Ret'd) James "Stocky" "Eddie" Edwards at the Y2K gala Banquet. We thank you for your service Sir!
Update: May 2021, while visiting Air Force museum and a photo shoot on the gate guardian CF101, I just happened to catch the Snowbird's 9 man formation. Unfortunately a little out of focus with my 360 camera.
Beautiful Place to fly. I got my first Wings training in Comox at Pacific Region Glider School - PRGS `99
