“We've had many friends in the Military over the years, and learned that some of these facilities are accessible to the general public as well. I don't know the rules, but we've legitimately used the pool several times during the Summer months when they tend to close the Aquatic Centre nearer to us for its yearly maintenance. Never used their Fitness Centre yet, although the drop-in is essentially a day-pass to use any of the facilities inside - did make use of the Sauna as well. There's a nice Chip Trail around the facilities that is totally open for public use, starting next to the Athletics Track - worth doing... see if you can complete the whole circuit without losing your way 😉 PS: Not sure if I'm allowed to post pics though...”
