Tourism Cafe

Wow !!! It was an unbelievable experience working with Nancy and Tourism Cafe, none like any other I have experienced before. I and Cozy Corner Suites participated in travel package training with a group of people in the Watrous/ Manitou, Saskatchewan area.
Nancy was amazing. She was super knowledge about the travel industry. She was helpful beyond words, not only about putting together travel packages. She also assisted me in setting new rates for the suites, revising our website to be more informative,
tailoring the template for the costing of the travel packages to accommodate for our suites all being priced differently, and answering my very many questions !!! Lastly, she was so very timely in her responses. Quite frankly, I do not know how she did it. Nancy is an incredibility talented woman, juggling so may balls and I feel super blessed to have been coached by her.

And I cannot forget Kristi. Her assessment of our website from the "Lense of the Traveller" was very enlightening and educational.

Hats off the both of you and Tourism Cafe.

The Lift program was great. I was inspired and motivated by the whole group. More than that, I was able to work out ideas and details of my own plans to expand and offer guest experiences. We were given so much great information, concrete tools to use, and full access to experienced coaches and industry experts. Absolutely invaluable. I'm now preparing for a whole integrated food-culture offering at both my rental accommodations AND seasonal restaurant. This is going to be a fantastic summer!

I recently completed the GMIST LIFT program and had the opportunity to work with Nancy and the Tourosm Cafe during this program. As a newcomer to the Tourism Industry I wasn't sure what to expect. From the start of the program I knew it was going to be beneficial. The organization of the information and attention to detail gave me confidence in the program delivery. With the completion of the program I feel confident on my next steps on my tourism journey.

Nancy delivered an absolutely excellent guest lecture to the students at Vancouver Island University (VIU) for the TRMT 360 (Experiential Product Development in Tourism) class, and our students absolutely loved it. She brought energy, passion and first-hand industry knowledge to the classroom, and our students expressed how they wish she could have stayed longer. On behalf of the VIU Tourism, Recreation & Hospitality department, THANK YOU Nancy and the Tourism Café for supporting our upcoming tourism, recreation and hospitality professionals who will soon be entering the industry. You have inspired us all!

Absolutely amazing! Nancy and Leslie at Tourism Café are inspiring, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Their coaching on our new "Chocolate Voices" Experience was invaluable. They guided us, challenged us and opened our eyes and minds to new ways of putting together an Experience. We feel now we have a fully integrated and unique Experience that would never have been part of Westben's programming without this incredible coaching.
