Copper Fern Guest House

Molly & Chris have created a lovely spot for guests. Very cosy & quiet but still close enough to the city centre. They provide a lovely first breakfast (homemade granola, homemade jam, eggs, milk, etc) to get you started. All in all, a wonderful stay!

We stayed 3 nights at the Copper Fern Guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. On our 3 weeks trip we stayed in several B&B's and AirBnB's. For sure this was our best experience! The place is very spacious and comfortable. There is an open plan living room with fully (and I mean totally fully!) equiped kitchen, large bedroom with very good bed, a good seized bathroom and even a laundry room. The design is beautiful, everything is spotlessly clean and owners Molly and Chris thought about every detail. And then there is the lovely terrace, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun (freshly baked muffins, home made jam and granola, eggs, fruit included for the 1st morning) with views into the huge yard surrounded by big trees. Life is good at the Copper Fern Guesthouse :-)
But what really makes it outstanding are Molly and Chris. Their hospitality is great! They are available for any question, we had very nice chats with them and they gave us a lot of tips on good restaurants, donut shops (Bigfoot Donuts!) :-) and things to do in the Comox Valley. So Molly and Chris, thanks for having us and for letting us enjoy all the good things of your beautiful Copper Fern Guesthouse!

A little gem! We enjoy traveling around the island and staying in different places. Some are great and some not so much! This place is the best we have experienced on the island! why:
The hosts are welcoming yet private
the location is outside the core so it is quiet - till the rooster wakes you up and then the birds start in and you slip on the dressing gown and start the day. First a little time enjoying treats Molly leaves then enjoying time on back deck surveying a beautiful yard. Bed is comfy, great reading materials, lots of nice linens so what is not to love. Sigh if everyone did it this well we would never go home. We have booked our return trip!

What a lovely winter we spent here in this peaceful environment with such accommodating and generous hosts. Everything you can possibly need will be found in this well-furnished suite. Molly and Chris provided us with many delicious treats that were very much appreciated. We highly recommend Copper Fern…we would return anytime!

The Copper Fern Guest house is an amazing little gem of a place! We staying in August of 2022 for a week and it was a highlight of our trip. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Some of the things that sets Copper Fern apart - fresh muffins and cookies on arrival, home made jam, access to the garden - which is amazing, they setup a hummingbird feeder which allowed us to capture some amazing pictures of the Anna's hummingbird, and so much more. It is things like this that make the stay more welcoming and fun! Highly recommend Copper Fern. We will be back!
