“The highlight of our trip through Western Canada. Even the journey by seaplane is fantastic. The nature experiences are fantastic! The fjord is beautiful. We saw grizzlies, dolphins, seals and and and.... Every excursion was carried out with the necessary respect for nature and the environment. No animal was distressed or disturbed. The guides are all friendly and helpful. Accommodation and food are excellent! Your safety is always taken into account.”

“One of the nicest campsites that we’ve ever been to! Dog friendly, lovely owners, games, a communal fire pit, and tons of extra (like a canoe to borrow) tucked all over the property.”

“Haven't camped here but done lots of hiking here. Good waterfalls to be seen. Some faces to climb with bouldering nearby. Lake is great. Clean and clear water. Decent beach and handy little business selling treats and food like burgers and fries. Gets a tad busy during summer and weekends but usually always room to enjoy if you get there at a decent time.”

“We stayed 3 nights at the Copper Fern Guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. On our 3 weeks trip we stayed in several B&B's and AirBnB's. For sure this was our best experience! The place is very spacious and comfortable. There is an open plan living room with fully (and I mean totally fully!) equiped kitchen, large bedroom with very good bed, a good seized bathroom and even a laundry room. The design is beautiful, everything is spotlessly clean and owners Molly and Chris thought about every detail. And then there is the lovely terrace, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun (freshly baked muffins, home made jam and granola, eggs, fruit included for the 1st morning) with views into the huge yard surrounded by big trees. Life is good at the Copper Fern Guesthouse :-) But what really makes it outstanding are Molly and Chris. Their hospitality is great! They are available for any question, we had very nice chats with them and they gave us a lot of tips on good restaurants, donut shops (Bigfoot Donuts!) :-) and things to do in the Comox Valley. So Molly and Chris, thanks for having us and for letting us enjoy all the good things of your beautiful Copper Fern Guesthouse!”

“We wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and finding this campsite last minute was a gamble. We decided to book for two weeks for partial hook up. Prior to booking we called them and asked for internet speed as we both had to work on line. They kindly checked the speed and we figured it will be good for us. The full hook ups on the top are a little bare and gravelly, but where we are at the lower level is very nice. Not a lot of trees on the site, which make them nice and bright and spacious, the sites are huge, so you have lots of space. If you want to be in the woods then this campsite is not for you. But if you want the quietness and vastness of just being in the presence of crickets, beautiful bees, and occasional hummingbirds this is a perfect spot. The staff are so amazing, the bathrooms are super clean, the campsite is not fully booked which I personally like because it feels like we are surrounded by quiet field. It is only 15 minutes walk from town, the river is literally 5 minutes walk over the bridge. This is a hidden gem, and as much as I love for it to remain hidden from those who wrote stupid reviews and complained about petty things, but I like to see it busier, because I want these guys to be able to thrive so I can come back here again. ♥️ 💖 ❤️. At the moment I am sitting in the sunshine and sipping my morning coffee and loving this place.”

“Just love this place. I wish I could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the coziness and the great kitchen and hangout space. Friendly hosts and a very cool, down-to-earth vibe. Bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Everything you need to make coffee and meals is there, including a fridge with individual boxes. So bring food if you’re staying for a while.”

“2 of the best business' owners I know they work with any one. I have been in and out as life changes for me and they always find a way to fit me in I have been here like 20 times in 26 years in my life to live here. On top of that they do well with my mother who struggles with socialization and they always find a way to make it work out. She can be hard to work with when angry but they find a way. The residents will go the extra mile to help u out just give them a chance. Don't let looks of old rv make u feel different the locals recycle, reuse and repair anything a example of close community's. Just remember to drive slow because dust is a issue on everything and children play lots. Resident much appreciate it. Who knows maybe u will make a friend for life here.”

“Great place to stay, clean and friendly, the cabins are so nice and its so close to the beach. The owners are so helpful, laundry on site, keep the place tip top. At night when the sun sets, the sky is just amazing for star gazing, walk down to the beach and meet some locals or other travelers, have a fire and listen to the waves roll up the beach. When the tide is out, walk river to river along the shore and hunt for shells and other treasures.”

“My girlfriend and I stayed in the small cottage for a weekend, a very welcoming place. Just a short walk to the beach or a quick drive into Campbell river. I highly recommend staying at the Home by the sea. The backyard has a great set up with a bbq, fire pit, hot tub, and a play set if you have kids. There are also lots of chairs to relax and enjoy a good book. Donna has done a great job in creating a perfect weekend getaway. If you are lucky, you might score some homemade beer from her son. 👍😎”

“My partner and I had the privilege of staying here during our winter break, and wow aren't we glad we did! We got so much more than we bargained for. Between the enchanting sauna and lake access, the beautiful (and challenging) disc golf course, and the freedom to roam around the farm, we ended up having a wonderful getaway. The rural setting is relaxing and quiet. The guesthouse had lots of room for living, a well equipped kitchen, and a very cute and comfortable loft for sleeping. Will be back for sure! Thank you!”

“My boyfriend and I sent a beautiful week at Breakers last September. Our beach cottage was clean and perfectly set up for all our needs. All the cottages are a stone throw away from a gorgeous beach. There are plenty of great restaurant's, shops and breweries close by. The Owners are so kind and helpful, someone is always around to answer questions and point you in the right direction. We had an amazing week and can’t wait to return!”

“Thank you Ann Delaney for picking up and delivering my mother's medication and other items to the hospital when she needed them, on the weekend, and promptly too, with such style and grace. I think this isn't exactly what your service does, but thank you for doing this small but important thing for our family. My mother is much happier now. Your personal attention is very much appreciated by this out of town family member. Because of you, I went from feeling helpless to helpful.”
