Fantastic guesthouse with very clean, comfortable accommodation. We received a very warm welcome from Veera and enjoyed the beautiful views across the estuary as well as it being a great location for exploring Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River, Elk Falls and the east side of Vancouver island. Would recommend highly!
Host and hostess were super friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond what I expected! The TV / sitting room / breakfast room had a comforts feel and the view was spectacular. I stayed one week and returned for two more nights the following week. Very clean and conscientious owner. Nice area but good security system too just in case. I brought in take out food on the second visit to take in the view while dining!!
Just a few minutes to a lot of amenities. (Including shopping and restaurants. Only 35 minutes to Mount Washington depending on road conditions.
This was our first bnb experience, and the bar has now been set too high for others to follow.
Veera, our host, is the most kind and endearing person I’ve ever met.
The moment you enter her cozy home, you immediately feel welcomed.
She explains everything clearly regarding your stay and shows you around to familiarize yourself with everything you will need for a wonderful stay.
The view is amazing…
The home is meticulously clean…
The breakfast is absolutely perfect….
The bed?…is so comfortable you’ll be in a sleep comma in minutes…
And Veera?….if you don’t instantly fall inlike with her there’s something wrong with you!!🤣🦋🌴👍
We can’t recommend her bnb more.
Enjoy!!
Maria and Bruce.
I rarely rate anything five stars. I was on a mini motorcycle tour of the mid island and settled on this b&b to stay at. I had a very enjoyable stay here. Truly everything was perfect. My host was gratious. She made me delicious breakfasts. The house directly faces the ocean - not an exaggeration. My room faced the ocean and the snow capped mountains of the mainland. I watched seals and eagles fishing. Lots of water foul. The room was large, nicely decorated, clean as can be, and had a very comfortable bed. I do recommend and I will be back if ever there is space. It gets booked up for the summer. No wonder.
Veera was a lovely and gracious host. We were met with a super comfy and clean room with coffee, tea, a microwave, toaster oven and fridge with a freezer. She even gave us a bottle of wine when we arrived and a homemade treat when we left.
The view was great and we saw seals playing in the water multiple times. I will stay here every time I visit for sure!
