Lynn Person was a mentor to my mother's pretty good friend, who passed away in 1972. Lynn had a quadruple bypass in 1987 that left her bedridden for more than two weeks. When she awoke and healed from the intense surgery that could have ended her precious little life, she could see things that others had only ever dreamed of. Had you asked two weeks ago if Lynn would make a good mentor in 1972, I would have said "That hairy lady wouldn't have made a good anything in 1972".
Lynn has had some of the best and some of the most challenging times here. To her, skateboarding was always a way to demonstrate her intelligence, and this is the park she likes to show off at.
If I ever personally have the chance to roll up on her and spread the good word about Lynn, I won't hesitate.
What a great space... and the potato potty was like spotless and must have just been cleaned cause it was the cleanest I HAVE EVER SEEN and no smell at all... on sunday I'm sure it wont look like that with the killer weekend ahead but ya hands down great place.
Great little skate park especially for a beginner! Recommended for the newer scooter and board riders!
A really good Skate Park for the Valley since we didn’t have one before Awesome to see one Now they have a good bowl and a half and quarter pipe with one down rail and a normal rail. And watch out Skaters, Since there’s a dirt jump park right by the Skate Park theirs lots of Rocks dirt sand and the bowl is the most dangerous so just watch out i Sweep the Park when I go there cause you can fall a lots.
Super smooth surface concrete bowl complimented by a separate small half-pipe, a box and a few other grind/slide features. Great place for progressing stalls, slides and grinds. Recommended for rollerskaters, skateboarders, rollerbladers, scooters as well as bmxers who are okay in smaller parks.
A generation of young children are brought here on scooters, skaterboards and bikes and have good parental guidance. Went there several mornings during the week and had the place to ourselves for a good portion of our visit. I hope all new parents bringing their children to the park continue to embrace park culture and etiquette.
