Merville Hall

I think the playground could use a little updating and safety measures put in
But it is a lovely location, and the Gumboot market is full of wonderful people.

Gumboot Market has great Vendors and a very nice atmosphere!

Merville Hall is a small rentable local community hall with a stage, kitchen, public washrooms, windows, and an accessibility access ramp. There is lots of parking in a gravel lot. I have attended choir concerts, craft fairs and Celebration of Life services there and found that the space worked well for all of those events.

We played a 3 hour gig at the Merville Gumboot Farmer's Market Sunday afternoon. It's a small, very friendly Market, great produce and baked goods. A wonderful way to spend an hour shopping for fresh food, one of the finest attributes of Vancouver Island. Beautiful country and nice folks in Merville about a 20 minute drive on the Old Island Hiwayn Noth of the Comox Valley.

Nice and quaint hall. Had our Grandpa's memorial service here and it was more than enough space for 50 people. Kitchen has the necessary basics and more than enough chairs and tables accessible.

It's an older hall but I think it has that Merville charm. 😊
