Refreshing taste. Not your average, grease and sugar infused hamburgers. Everything has a tropical slant. Pineapple added to sumptuously stacked burgers gives a naturally sweet-and-tangy taste that would satisfy taste buds craving something other than the chain-store usuals. Ginger added to coleslaw challenges and satiates the adventurous tongue. Hope they expand to other cities.
It is located in an area with many small shops. A leisurely stroll after our meal was the bonus. Parking was easy. There is street parking and city parking lots. Very convenient.
Nestled down town Duncan on Kenneth St.
Delicious Burgers await your taste buds. Fesh'n tasty, condiments/sauses all made in house. Welcoming friendly service, in/out door seating.
The Kahuna Burger was by far the BEST burger I have ever had. There were so many flavours slapping my taste buds they needed a safe word! Sweet, salty, savory, every bite was a celebration of burger innovation. I dare you to try any of the burgers on the menu and not have it take your number 1 burger spot. I wish there were 12 stars!!!
Pure magic. Wanted a big juicy burger and stopped in Duncan to give this a shot. Absolutely worth it. "Best burger I've ever had." And "oh god that was good" was the feedback at the table. Great staff, amazing burgers, delicious sides and drinks.
Got the Kahuna Burger, bacon, cheese and all the fixin's. Best burger I've had in a long while. The patty had a wonderful flavour, not sure what I was tasting but it was good. Bun was large and in charge but not overpowering, enough to keep a juicy burger under control until it was gone. My friend had the Portobello vegetarian option and polished it off with gusto.
Got a kick out of the Eating Instructions" we were given before our burgers were served. Need to follow the protocols to avoid wearing some of it home, where you will fast become your dog's favourite human.
The green mango slaw was a bit disappointing, I found it a little dry and lacking in flavour. Next time I will try the regular slaw. I did appreciate the use of wooden (bamboo?) cutlery that can be recycled.
My only "beef" is the price. At around $20 this was by far the most expensive burger I have ever ordered. Because of that, Kahuna Burger will not become my regular lunch destination in Duncan, I will maybe keep this place in my back pocket for special occasions.
