McAdam Park

You can walk through this park to a river, and there is lots of space to explore. The park is really beautiful in the Spring. Good spot to check out in the Cowichan Valley!

Nestled beside the highway, this is a short trail to stroll and a fun place to go for a dip on a hot summer day.

Beautiful place to be on a nice day, next to the river and the trees. Always great people around with their dogs and family.

Great place for everyone who likes to get out for fresh air. Sports fields that are very well maintained, complete with insane bright lights for night games and practice, tennis courts, a looping gravel walking trail that is maintained and wheelchair or scooter friendlyish, though it is gravel but there are no holes or obstacles. Dogs can be off leash in parts, and the majority of dog owners and their fur babies seem to be able to keep themselves in check. The river is also accessible from several points along the trail as well. There are change rooms and washrooms as well, and 4 options for parking from one end of the park to the other.

There are nice easy trails and they are easy to get to.
