K & K Nail Spa

I stopped here during my vacation as we passed thru Ladysmith. It was the most expensive fill I’ve ever had and one of the worst. My nails are not nicely rounded and the edges are not filed. Would not recommend unless you’re in dire straits

I went in there thinking that I was gonna be paying $60 for a regular spa pedicure but that was the price is using regular polish… not gel polish ….so I picked my colour and the Lady who works there that was sitting beside me was telling me that it was too light of a colour and all the coats was never going to dry and i should do gel… but it’s 15$ extra …. for gel polish…. so 75$ dollars later i had regular polish on then taken off and gel polish on… making it almost 80$ with taxes… everything else was super nice the scrub smelt amazing the lady who did my pedicure was lovely … but 15$ extra for gel polish was a little much… not to mention the other lady completely blamed me like i should’ve known the light colour wouldn’t dry… but only after i had it on and let it dry for over ten minutes to tell me i should do gel because the light colour needed too many coats plus base coat and top coat so it wasn’t going to dry. (EDIT**) update - i got called 2 times by them and they tried to bribe me with a gift card if i removed this review…

they did a good job but higher prices than most establishments i will be booking my future appointments with another salon.
i felt like they had waited until i was done to say it wasn’t going to work to put me on the spot to pay for 15$ gel polish .

I got an acrylic set which turned out sooo pretty its my favourite set to date! I had my nails done in gel polish somewhere else and they destroyed my nails! Heidi took them off and rescued my nails, and Lisa did a BEAUTIFUL job giving me a acrylic set ! I recommend K&K to everyone. Was having a horrible day today and they made it much better, thank you !♥️

This place is busy so I recommend you reserve. My hubby and I went for pedicures. Both of us received great service. Place was clean and the chairs were the massage chairs. I’d recommend this place anytime.

I love this spa and will be going back again for sure. I had Nancy do gel polish on my natural nails and they're the best I've ever had.
I would highly recommend checking this place out. The deluxe spa pedicure is a must try. Trust me when I tell you that having your feet in bags of hot wax is more relaxing than it sounds!
*Update: Day 16 of my gel nail polish and they're still PERFECT.
