My name is Todd Evans, as a young ball player I grew up playing my years at Pioneer Park, as years passed and we all grew up and moved away, I enjoyed coming home to show my young family the legacy of our family. Baseball has forever been apart of my family’s history. My father, Edward (Ted) Evans, taught us as young boys the sport, and it was instilled in us to excel at the sport ... my father is my hero for his patience and time he invested in my development in this great sport.
I love that so many young boys and girls can enjoy such a beautiful facility. Enjoy your journey...
Very well kept facilities
Really awesome park! We work with Tom Evans on his farm right next to the park and he is a awesome guy. The park is in a super nice area. Very little traffic if at all. Great place to play a game of ball!
A grass field for soccer. Not much available nearby if you want a coffee or anything like that. We typically stop in at Coffee on the Moon for a drink and a treat when we go there for a soccer game. There are trails nearby as well if you need to walk a dog or stretch your legs.
Beautiful field. I played ball here growing up and am coaching a mosquito team now. The fields are mostly looked after well and the volunteers are amazingly generous people. Sad that the new needle disposal bin is needed but there's not much else they can do. Looking forward to a sunny ball season.
Great baseball park in a beautiful setting in the Cowichan Valley. Six or seven diamonds for hardball and softball.
