Very nice
It’s like a family here at the campground. The managers (Bill and Cheryl) are the nicest people and have gone above and beyond on numerous occasions to help people out. They even paid for and gave out ice cream treats from Dairy Queen to the whole campground on a few super hot days (super awesome)! They have held BBQs here for everyone which is also a super nice thing to do. The campground is well maintained and the washrooms / laundry facility are always clean. I’ve been here over a year and haven’t had any issues with the power and the internet is really good also. The garbage bins are emptied regularly and the lawn is always cut and cared for. Lots of pride and hard work put into this campground and it shows!
This is one of the best places we have stayed at! We love the park and all its amenities, the new washrooms and laundry are amazing.
The fact that we Full Time with two kiddos and they are able to cater to our needs is amazing, they let us receive mail @ the office, and the school bus comes right to the park as well. Honestly if your looking for a spot to hang your hat look no further! The managers are friendly and super helpful when ever we have needed anything, and if you get a chance to meet the owner he’s the same as well.
Also the park is close to grocery stores and the shopping mall, the only downer is there is no playground but we have heard rumblings of the possibility of one coming eventually.....
An nice RV park (EDITED) - I even added an additional star!
We booked the site as heading south for the winter was not an option. Cranbrook is a nice town with most things that you would expect of a town this size.
PROS:
1.The owners are pleasant and helpful.
2. A new laundry is clean and equipped with new machines washrooms
are also located there. They are secure and access is only for RV
customers.
3. RV park is located close to town and HWY 3.
4. Spaces on the flat are better for anything over 34 feet due to ease of
access.
5. Internet provided by the park is fast even at peak times and pretty
stable.
6. They allow postage to park address which is great!
CONS:
1. Access to sites in the back half are difficult to get to as it's steep and
tight. The access road is slippery and usually icy but sometimes
maintained when they can. A
4WD is advantageous.
2. Sites on the hill are soft during summer, it's a new park when we first
stopped here and seemed unstable.
3. There are an alarming amount of large dead pines on the hill in
between sites.
Moved into this lovely Rv part a week ago. The owner is very easy to deal with and made sure I was satisfied with my site and set up. The site manager is also a very easy to talk to gentlemen. I am very satisfied costumer. The location is great as it is close to all the major shopping hot spots. Wifi is amazing and each site has its own fiber and coax hook ups if you wanted to get your own internet/cable.
