Mel's Kitchen

I go to Mel’s kitchen to enjoy a good home cooked breakfast after working a long night regularly. The coal miners breakfast is my favourite. Good food with with friendly staff and owner Mel . Always good for a good laugh. Best place in town for breakfast. Thanks Mel for always good food and for laughs . See you again soon

My family and I go every week to have a wonderful breakfast after night shift. They are also very accommodating to my toddlers order. She also makes stunning Cinnamon Buns.

The staff was friendly. That's why I gave 3 stars. If I was only rating the food it would have been 2. Elkford really needed a breakfast place but I found the food to be pretty unremarkable and bland. I might give it another try at some point but I think I may just stick to cooking my own breakfast. At least it will have some flavor and not be dry.

Went for early morning breakfast with my 2 year old, we were greeted happily and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!
If you're an eggs benedict fan like I am, I highly recommend giving theirs a try, 10/10 best one I've ever had.
I can't wait to bring the rest of my family to Mel's Kitchen!
