“The alternator on my truck went just outside of radium and we were stuck with a 30’ trailer in tow. Luckily enough we broke down just across from Gas Plus. I went in there first thing in the morning, and although Ron couldn’t fit me in for a repair, he did order me the part, and I changed it out on my own. It may not have been the bargain price you could get from a parts store, but we were stranded, had no way of getting it ourselves and it arrived about the same time I pulled the dead one out - so to me it was worth every penny. We truly appreciated the friendly service we received and if you’re in a jam, this is the place to go.”

“Checking online for a place that serves breakfast in Radium and Conrad's Kitchen & Grill most definitely was a hit. The atmosphere was pretty nice as well very clean. The service we received was great nice and friendly. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and I choose the Traditional breakfast with pancakes and hash browns. The bacon was a thick cut and the pancakes were fluffy not heavy tasted great. The coffee was fresh and hot had a good taste not weak like some places that taste either watered down or just cheap brand. I mostly definitely would recommend coming here for breakfast. We got there early so not sure how busy it really gets but it was starting to fill up around 10:30 - 11:00am.”

“Me and my family came here for a visit after enjoying the hot springs; the food presentation is really nice for the fish and chips, the burgers, and the quesadillas. The wait time is worth it in my opinion, and the people who work here are really kind. For the actual food, ABSOLUTE DELICIOUSNESS (I don’t know how else to put it). Their chicken quesadillas are bursting with flavour that I had to finish the marinara and sour cream that came with it. Their fish and chips are awesome, and the mushroom burger is juicy and flavourful according to my parents. Would really r e a l l y recommend eating here if you’re out exploring with others! rah👍”

“Stopped to check out this candy store on Main Street in Radium to find an extensive range of sweets to choose from according to one's preference; coming from England it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane to find such a wide range but no TOPIC chocolate bar which most likely is discontinued as unable to find even on a recent trip to England! Mom and I came every single morning to enjoy a beautiful start to the day. The lattes & cappuccinos are lovely! The breakfast items are super tasty. It smells amazing from the front door. The to-go lunch/dinner - just perfect! We bought two of their sandwiches with us for a hike by Morraine Lake! Soooo satisfying. Some of our favourites throughout our stay: the vegan curry patty, the vegetable pot pie, their croissants, their carrot cake, their to-go healthy juices! Nom nom! But what made us come back everyday? They’re SUPER friendly and lovely staff + INCREDIBLE food/drink!!! Shout to you all; we can’t wait to see you again in the future :)”

“We were looking for a quick, easy dinner option when arriving in Radium, and decided to try Wildside Pizzeria. We went in to grab a takeout menu for later, and it smelled absolutely amazing inside! That definitely sealed the deal for us. It's a takeout pizza joint, conveniently located on the main street in town. They offer tons of unique flavour combinations, and will also accommodate half-and-half pizza requests for a small additional charge. We settled on a half sicilian/half wildside special pizza and called in the order. It was quoted for 25 minutes and was ready when I went to pick it up. It was a Saturday night, and very busy at all the local restaurants in the area, so finding street parking was a bit of a challenge - walk if you can! When I got the pizza back to the hotel, it was piping hot and smelled absolutely delicious! The crust was everything you'd want in a pizza- chewy (although just a bit dry) inside, slightly crispy and brown on the outside, with extra crispy edges from melted cheese. The bottom was not at all soggy or greasy, and it was more of a thin-crust style. The ratio of toppings to crust was perfect; there was a good amount of toppings, while not being overloaded. This definitely helped to keep the crust from getting soggy. The veggies were so fresh and delicious. The flavour profile was 100% on point - I particularly enjoyed the creamy feta and balsamic drizzle on the sicilian. My husband, who doesn't normally like pizza, says it's one of the best he's ever had. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend for a quick, casual takeout dinner!”

The handmade seasoned chips were yummmm and so was the spicy dill pickle. Saving the bottle of Dilly sauce for my baby girl back home in Seattle 🥰.
