The place was great. We had an incredible week, but it’s all what you make it. There are no “services” per say, if you go into it knowing that you can save a tone of money and have an incredible time. You’re renting a condo so plan accordingly. Anything you think you’ll want (in the kitchen especially, knives, pans, SPICES, etc.) bring it. Don’t go here expecting to have ALL the comforts of home (unless you bring them) and you’ll have an unreal time. Also, the “pools” in the stream are the a stones throw away and the best way to unwind after a long day of whatever you chose to do.
Absolutely, recommend this spot.
Stayed at Timber Resort - Fairmont. Very nice cabin and surrounding. The management did their best to make our stay pleasant with tons of amenities like playground, outdoor fireplace, mini games : dart, horseshoes, water balloon and bbq on each cabin! Kitchen on each cabin, well equipped with pots and pans, plates, cutlery etc. Nice garden setting, very pretty Columbia Lake. Will stay again. Highly recommended!
Went to stay at fairmont creek town homes from July 13th to 15th. Stayed at unit 708. I have to say it was a beautiful unit. Almost too much room for my wife, myself, and 3 kids as my twins are only 2. The place was very clean and organized, they provided lots of dishes for cooking and baking that saved us from eating out. The barbecue was spotless even though we didn't use it. The tvs were a little dated but honestly we didn't come to watch TV. Our place had a nice little 2 bed loft which had a steep ladder like step; I ended up blocking the entrance with some chairs so my little ones wouldn't try and go up and fall down. My only complaint would be that the ac unit needs a upgrade as it struggled to cool the unit on full and it was hot when we stayed. I think the master bedroom really needs a small ac unit as well as the ceiling fan falls short on the hot summer nights. Other than that its a great place. Has 2 parking spots but someone kept parking on one every night; glad we only needed the one. I would definitely come again and highly recommend giving them a try
My partner and our Dogs stayed in their small cabins next to Coys, such a beautiful place! Never had the opportunity to check out lake access as their was snow but my friends stayed here a few weeks ago and it looked like a wonderful spot for lake access. The kind on-site staff that were present at the time were awesome and really appreciated the lady that gave a quick and thoughtful welcome. Will definitely be back, maybe in one of the larger rentals throughout the beautiful Columbia Valley!
Timbers Resort has always been a great place to get away. It's clean, comfortable and beautiful. Over the years many great memories have been made here. No matter what season I have stayed in, it's always great. Thank you for everything. I can't wait til my next stay.
