Rocky Mountain Optometry

Broke my glasses on my second day after arriving in Fernie. I was able to buy new glasses and pick them up prescribed on the same day! Prices are very reasonable. Wendi and the rest of the team were a great help.

I started wearing glasses a few years ago. I've always encountered difficulty as my eyes have slightly different prescriptions. All the Eye Doctor's that I've seen have convinced me to wear two different lenses. It's very uncomfortable.
Yesterday I visited Rocky Mountain Optometry for my check up and Shane is the best Doctor I've seen thus far. He was so knowledgeable as to how the eye works, and I've learned that it's OK to have the same prescription for both eyes, it won't hurt. I also need to mention the exceptionally amazing job that Wendy did helping me to figure out my insurance. Thank you guys, everyone at Rocky Mountain that I've dealt with is great. You guys sure blow every other eye optometry I've visited in the past. Looking forward to my next visit 2 years from now. Cheers.

Had a problem removing my contact, needed a specific device to solvece the issue. A lady in a pumpkin skirt graciously greeted me and kindly provided the device with a smile and chuckle when she saw my big fingers! Thanks so much!

a comfortable eye exam experience. I neglected my eyeseight for the last 13 years and expected a little bit of well deserved condescending conversation. Nope, Dr. Katelyn Rose was super cool, understanding and professional. The poor lady who did my pre-exam tests had her work cut out for her as I kept doing the tests wrong (not focusing on black squares properly etc..) she kept her cool. Building is always sparkly clean too.
