“If there was more stars i would give them. They are amazing to deal with. We rented a mini excavator to dig our rock bed yard to build our fence. Amazing price to begin with and got an even better deal when we had half the hours on it. Also got our galvanized fencing from them. Also amazing price. Last minute asked for posts and also got great pricing. Ken loaded everything up, had the bill ready so there wasn't any waiting around. If ur looking to rent equipment, build a fence, hit these guys up. 100% worth it”

We were there for work and in the shoulder season so ultra quiet. Lower level unit so patio leads out to the back patio literally in front of the hot tub.”

“I happened to find out about this coffee roaster on a trip I took this fall in Northern BC. I tried a sample and ordered several bags of beans when I got home. It was shipped fast and I could smell the coffee through the package when it arrived.. It's my new favorite! You have to drink this brand of coffee plain in my opinion because it's so good. Special care and attention is taken from farm to roaster to customer. This is 5 star coffee. ;)”

“Even if I could afford the ritzy hotels next door I would probably choose this place. I just hope it doesn't get bought out by a big chain and have more stars added. As it stands, the Fernie Slopeside Lodge is perfect- excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable beds. You can see the chairlift right outside the window and there is free parking right in front. Both Fernie and this hotel are a skier's dream.”

“We had air bnb so no services. Hot tub is warm. Wish the fenching was lower as the view is fantastic on one side of hot tub. Everything was very clean. Lockers are good for 4 boarders with room to spare and a perfect distance to elk chair which has mostly green runs with a couple blue and to a tbar for the bunny area.”

“This is where I want to rent skis again near Fernie. The location is hidden at the bottom of the resort under Rusty’s Pub at the back parking lot, through the double doors. There is no signage because the owner of the main building won’t allow it. This is a group of young people that have banded together to form a coop. They know the hill and are glad to share their knowledge. The staff at All in Ski Service were very helpful. The rental skis were high performance and well maintained. The price was very reasonable. They even tuned my skis mid week at no additional charge.”

“Nice little cafe/restaurant nearly on the top of the mountain next to the Siberia bowl and ski slopes. Friendly and quick service. Tasty soups, panini and coffee. Great stop to make a pause or do lunch when you're up the mountain. We loved the laid back atmosphere and no-fuss attitude. Toilets are communal and outside - opposite of the building. Prices are fair and reflect the location. Loved it.”

“Stopped by here while exploring the town of Fernie. Ordered a pizza from The Funky Goat and very quickly learned they were delivery only. They recommended I go to The Legion and have my pizza delivered there. The folks at The Legion said that was fine, and people get their pizzas delivered all the time. The only requirement was I buy their beer and sign their guestbook, which I did so cheerfully. Very friendly place with an old-school pub feel. Made for a pleasant evening in town.”
