Fernie RV Resort

Clean, well kept spots with grass and gravel, picnic tables in good shape, shower house relatively new with free showers and plenty of hot water. It’s mostly a stop over kind of place, no privacy and very small trees. It’s good for a night or two. There seem to be many workers who live there. It’s great for what it is. Nightly prices are a bit steep.

We needed a spot for a night and they had availability- a ton of spots. Located just inside Fernie - wifi, showers, washrooms and next to a rocky river (see pic). Pricey and not very private - designed for RVs, some tent spots.

CAUTION: If you like to escape into nature this is NOT for you, same if you’re on a budget - but I could see this as a nice spot for groups, people who like to be close to urban areas, and/or as a base to hop for experiences in the region.

Beautiful campground. Well-situated for access to amenities and biking back to site after racing down a mountain. Clean, great sized sites. Nice firepits and picnic tables. Would stay away from the new sites by the river as they don't have lawn. Just wild weeds and naturalized grass. Wish it had a pool but the river was amazing this time of yr.

This place is overpriced for what they offer. Yes there are shower facilities and pay laundry, but there is no pool and so I am missing the resort part. Also, the spots are set up so close together you can see into everyone’s sites around you. I have been to lots of RV parks and this is by far the worst layout for privacy. And the roads are not paved and had massive potholes we had to drive through with our trailer in the resort. The roads in my trailer storage facility are better maintained. The staff were polite at check in and the washroom facilities were fairly clean.

Really enjoyed the stay here. The facilities were well maintained (even though one lavatory was clogged and disgusting) but I’m sure the staff handled it. Staff were very sweet and explained things clearly. Shower facility was my favourite. Gender neutral single stall with hot hot water, clean and tidy. Could use some work to keep the floors a bit drier but cannot complain. The sites were quite close to each other but it did not disturb my sleep. Quiet night I slept well. Wifi did not work well for me but I was there to disconnect. People there seemed respectful. Walking trail by the river nearby but a lot of mosquitoes. Would bring my wife here next time.
