We stayed here with our little one and dog a couple of weeks ago and would highly recommend the Larix to anyone looking to visit Kimberley. The location of the hotel was very convenient, we walked everywhere. Recent updates were visible throughout and the hotel was in great shape. Breakfast was to die for. Staff is very welcoming and one of the owners Sue made our stay a memorable one!

I have worked in the hotel industry for 25 years. Both in large chain and small resort boutique hotels. And traveled extensively in Europe and North America and stayed in many hotels.
This boutique hotel is right up there with my best experiences. Warm, friendly, clean (a must for me) public spaces.
The hotel room has all you need, has a modern Scandinavian feel, luxurious and comfortable. Hot shower and bath, great views from the room.
A large cold breakfast is included, which was laid out beautifully. Cozy, comfortable, plenty, perfect.
I was here in October and enjoyed the wood burning fire pit outside after breakfast.
I highly recommend this for couples getting away from it all.

We loved our stay at the Larix Hotel. The service was outstanding as was the amazing breakfast! Great coffee, fruit, bagels and lox and so much more. The rooms were lovely and cozy. The extra touches like lotion and soap from Healing Hollow to take home, complementary coffee, snacks and drinks were the icing on the cake. We will stay here again.

We booked this for a spur of the moment trip and I am so grateful we did. The hostess, Sue, is so sweet and makes you feel welcome immediately. This hotel has done a wonderful job of blending BnB and hotel atmosphere together. The details in bedding, soaps, lotions and the coffee bar area give all the feelings of home. The decor is upscale yet cozy and breakfast was one that my husband and I were happy to try! We can’t wait to come back to the Larix.
